I think this is a solid self help book for people who need a quick reminder to “just do it.”
This was very much like most self-help books, not really offering any NEW information, but just reminding us what we already know, but not advising us how to really cement new habits and practices.
I would be more lenient with the star rating if it weren't for the mention of how medication is a crutch. PISS OFF IN ALL ENTIRETY. No.

I have listened to this book 2 times now and i rally like the message. i am a person who over thinks things and i really need to get out of my head. i recommend listening to the book because you can hear the emotions behind it. the afformations are short and to the point. i like that he mentions it in the beginning of the chapter and at the end of the chapter
I enjoyed a lot of aspects of the book however as someone who is experiencing burnout, it’s a tad over the top for me. Do the small actions to get you where you need to be but it is also ok to binge Netflix and relax. Not every hour needs to be filled with changing your life.

Toxic message to “buck it up”. Was inspiring but also doesn’t allow for the processing of trauma, health concerns or inequities.

This is not revolutionary information but this book comes at a time in my life where I am in need of a pep talk and a reminder that I am in charge of my life and am the only one that can try and salvage the things that happen to me.
This was not terrible! Just wasn't the right time for me to read it
