The art is beautiful, of course. It's well written. I just...I don't like where the story went. I don't like that everything about everyone has suddenly changed. Opening the portal to Hell in L.A., yeah it was bound to cause some issues. But if Season 6 would have happened, I know this is not how it would have went down (special effects budget notwithstanding). I can't connect to them. This isn't them. It's like metaverse Angel.

Oh, this just got better with every turn and twist. Maybe it's because Angel was always "my" show, even more than Buffy, but I feel like this had miles more to it than a lot of the Buffy comics. The characterization here just doesn't miss a beat, from Angel to Illyria, from Spike to LORNE. Cannot wait to read more even though these are pricey to track down.

I loved the television show so it is wonderful to see what became of the characters after the season finale. While Joss Whedon's involvement with the plot is evident, this reads more in the style of his work with Marvel then what fans of the show are used to.

The story is bigger and more fantastic. It is beyond anything you could imagine on a television effects budget. I enjoyed it though I do miss the realism of the tv show. Episodes that dealt with the world as I know it with demons under the surface were my favorite. Episodes like I've Got You Under My Skin, Smile Time, Waiting in the Wings and I Will Remember You.

Writer Brian Lynch's also brings his own style to the writing. I'm loving his sass and humor. He writes Angel less broody and more snarky. We've seen some of this in the show but in the comics it is more consistent and at times has more bite, sort of a cross between Angel and Angelus. However, it is the apocalypse and Angel has many reasons to make himself appear unaffected by the destruction of the world around him.

Fans of the show will enjoy this one, though if you haven't seen the show, crawl out from under the rock where you've been hiding and watch the TV series before you pick up After the Fall. This series is canon with the show and won't make any sense if you haven't watched the episodes.

This would be a 5 if spike wasn’t having women run around in bikinis for his own pleasure

Still struggling with the e-comic book format. I like the different threads of stories of the shattered team but it was over to quickly.

Loved being back in this world & finally finding out what happened after the Season 5 finale...
Was a good story, with plenty of action & some surprises! O_o
The artwork's good-But not my favourite style for Graphic Novels/Comic Books! :/
I've only got this one so far-But now I've started, I really want to continue! :D
