I super regret getting this on Kindle because the text is hard to read even with the zoom feature (the zoom feature for books like this is trash btw) and I can’t fully appreciate the gorgeous art that is clearly meant to be looked at via a big physical book.
All that aside, this was pretty entertaining (although I’ll freely admit to completely skipping certain sections because I don’t care about future cars and guns) and I’m super stoked to play the game.

First and foremost, this is an artbook...ish. There is a reason why it's called The World of Cyberpunk 2077 and not The Art of Cyberpunk 2077.
I like the narrative take, how this was published in universe because of the sensitive information used was too risky to have on the Net. It does contain some good information that helps flesh out the world. Do I wish it went into more detail at times? Yes. Do I regret reading it? No. It did have some sections that I thought were really interesting and added details to basic concepts and items (braindance being the main one for me). To be honest, you can probably find a lot of the information in here on the internet, and unless you are going for the deluxe edition (includes a Johnny Silverhand poster, 4 postcards of in-game cars, and temporary tattoos featuring the logo of all the gangs) I'd recommend skipping out on this (or buying it when it's super discounted).
One thing I would recommend if you are going to get this is get it either before you start the game or when your early on in gameplay. A lot of the information you discover in-game, but if you read about it before playing I think it would make the experience so much better.

As a fan of Cyberpunk 2077, this is an excellent book to read if you want to know more of how the world came to be and art of this game. The game has a nice mixture of both information and art and could've been five stars if it had given us a bit more of both.

2. Độ chi tiết không được cao. Mình luôn có cảm giác là người viết chỉ đề cập đến bề nổi của bề nổi vấn đề ...
3. Việc lạm dụng filler: nhiều khung tranh bị điền "missing data", "corrupted images" với background đen, dù biết là trong CP thì việc đặt những hình ảnh vậy khá là hợp cảnh, nhưng đặc nhiều quá khiến người đọc nghĩa là studio chưa nghĩ ra concept art cho chủ đề/nhân vật được đề cập.
4. Hơi hụt hẫng bởi lore không quá "sốc" như mình tưởng tượng. Hoặc có thể do mình cày shadowrun hơn nhiều ...
