I know that dark romances are meant to be a little tongue in cheek but legal incest is where I personally draw the line. The book was super fast paced until after a certain scene (roughly 60-70% of the way through). After that, it slows massively. And I cannot get over the fact that these MEN were pining after a 17 y/o (eventually a battle legal 18 y/o).

DID NOT FINISH

I just, I don't know. In all honesty I struggled all through this book but I wanted to give it the benefit of a doubt because it's such a highly suggested book. But at 73% I gave up. I just, I couldn't torture my brain anymore.

Ummm wow. Wasn’t really sure what I was expecting, wasn’t quite that. But I liked it a lot. Great read, kept interest very well. Spicy, I liked it

Just a wholesome story of an estranged family coming together to help each other work through their past traumas. Just some good ol’ family bonding while snowed in.

I read this because of the talk/hype surrounding it in Bookstagram… I’m not sure how I feel about it though. I’m all for a taboo romance if the lead up at least makes sense. But this didn’t make sense. It was too much for no well justified reason.

And the sudden turn around of Kaleb at the end of the book felt too sudden. We should have started with just a couple of words at a time. Not full sentences.

What a ride

An incredible roller coaster and I didn’t see that end coming. Loved watching Tiernan heal, grow and move on with her life after her parents deaths. And the boys, ugh
