A solid Poirot story, a well to do, toxic family in a Christmas setting. Some unexpected twists in the tale, as ever with Christie. Exactly what I expected and wanted

Loppuratkaisussa on Christielle tyypillisesti useita käänteitä.

Knives Out but, like, 30% less compelling.

This book was fun to read, but it lacked the follow through I was hoping for in a mystery novel of this type. Also, not the most Christmas-y, if that’s what you’re hoping for.

A classic Poirot mystery. The ending was totally unpredictable as usual, never in my small brain did I even consider that an option!! I wish the book had had more christmassy vibes, but it was a nice read nonetheless.

this was one of the more predictable Agatha Christie’s novels but i still really enjoyed the twists and turns and the christmas vibes were perfect.
