I have never read more impactful death scenes than the ones Abercrombie writes in his books.

They are so realistic and somewhat disappointing in a strangely satisfying way, almost like scratching an itch and finding it still persisting after you're done.

I am a stupid for putting off finishing this book for so long.

Tras la "presentación" a la que asistimos en el primer tomo, entramos de lleno en el "nudo" con tres lineas argumentales: el viaje de la compañía del anillo Logan, Ferro, Jezal, Bayaz y compañía al quinto pino a buscar un arma mágica del pasado, la semilla; la defensa de Dagoska por parte de Glokta y la campaña del norte con el coronel West y la vieja cuadrilla de Logan. La tensión va creciendo y el libro nos abandona entre distintos reveses que suponemos que darán paso a un desenlace en el tercer tomo.
Muy agradable de leer y escuchar.

Incredible follow up to book 1 and set up for book 3. There was no middle book syndrome here and I’m impressed with the story, how everything came together and how the characters developed. We see a lot more of the world and a lot of things come together seamlessly. Lots of twists which kept me hooked. 

Can’t wait to get started on book 3.
