So confused how people heal in this book...seems to take mere days, but maybe my sense of time is thrown out of whack. But really well crafted--very character driven. Getting a little tired of Glokta and wish Logen had more development/air time.

Enjoyed this a lot more than the first, but I think this also made me appreciate the first book more, as I really cared about the characters and their journeys because I got to know them really well already.

I'm really interested to see where this goes next, as I've definitely come to love some characters a lot more than I already did. I think I can finally understand where all the hype surrounding this book series/author is coming from.
