If you are reading this book expecting any kind of resolution to this trilogy, you will be disappointed. It's nothing but hundreds of pages of stagnant plot, a story that refuses to move forward, characters that don't grow or change at all, and absolutely no resolution to any plot line in this story. I would argue that you shouldn't waste your time unless you enjoy disappointment.

Three stars because finally I can read away from Mares perspective. If your looking for the book where she actually learns and uses her brain better, then this isn’t it.

Everything is everyone else’s fault in her eyes, at the same time acknowledging everything she did wrong but not learning from it at all.
