I absolutely loved A Million Kisses in your Lifetime. It sent me down a huge rabbit hole that was Monica Murphy. Idk what it is about this most recent series that just isn't clicking with me.
Don't get me wrong, the storyline is good and I still enjoyed this book but I just feel like it needed more. Cam was SO infuriating. I understand that's the point but UGH I wanted to throttle him. The one thing I wished was that there was more of a connection between the characters. What I mean is more than "Wow, he's the hottest guy I've seen" and "Wow, she's the hottest girl, sorry woman, I have ever seen!" AND THE ROOMMATES. Oh my. I wanted there to be more there. I felt so bad for this girl. She had no friends.
OKAY! Enough bashing.
As much as Cam irritated me at times, I appreciated the acknowledgment that he was struggling. He realized that he needed help and got it. So many books have the MMC deal with things. Normalizing therapy is something that I really enjoy seeing in books. Also, the confidence in the FMC to realize her worth?! AMAZING! She was not fudging around with her own feelings this time! Knox goes to say earlier in the book how much of a mess she was after almost all of her relationships, but, I guess, I find it hard to see after reading how she dealt with Cam?? Oh well.
I gave this book 3/5 stars because I didn't dislike it but I also didn't love it. I would absolutely recommend it to anyone that loves Monica Murphy! I'm just a reader, not an expert. Take my words with a grain of salt lol.

Soo soo good! I love Cam!! He is now my new favorite book boyfriend! This is another great book by Monica Murphy! I fell in love with Blair and Camden instantly in Knox's book and was so excited to see they get their own book!
By now, everyone Knox knows, especially his teammates, even Camden knows, that Blair is off limits. We see a little tension between Blair and Camden in Knox's book and it continues in this book. More like explodes! I love how Blair was straight forward with Cam. She knew what she wanted and that was him. Camden fights Blair's forwardness as much as he could until, he just stops and gives into the feelings he has for Blair. Screw Knox.
I loved how determined Blair was to show Camden how they can be together. These two have an amazing connection and I loved watching their relationship grow and develop. Definitely angsty and spicy! This book is now my favorite out of this series! If you love the forbidden relationship, brother's best friend, college sports tropes then check this one out! I definitely recommend!
