The FMC was written as a pick me. In a “Look at me, I’m different” type of way. She doesn’t do “glitz and glam”, hates makeup, falsies, only drinks dark roast. She honestly sounds like she is not a girls girl, and I’m not interested.

3.75 stars. I enjoyed this light, easy read. I always appreciate a enemies to lovers story line, especially set in the world of sports. My biggest complaint with this one is I wish the story was a bit more fleshed out. Good characters and a good story concept - just wish it didn't move quite so quickly.
