Winston’s voice and sense of humor made this book. While I think some sections were more powerful than others, it was a super quick read with easy to digest essays that speak on love (romantic and importantly platonic), sexuality and gender, activism (both helpful and harmful kinds), etc. The essays being structured as anecdotes was a great format for this type of book. Didn’t make it to 5 starts for me personally but I appreciated Winston’s candor.

Very interesting, funny author! At times kinda punishes herself up about not being ‘woke’ enough, the reflection there felt a bit forced (but not unbelievable). Some of the analyses on the topics of culture, sexuality, etc. felt a little flat, but I would be interested to hear more of her blog-style thoughts!

A breezy, conversational memoir examining the author's experiences and challenges with being bi. Lots of good stuff here about labels and queer relationships. Great on audio.
