I read this aloud for my kids and we loved it! Mr Fox is not only fantastic but charming and clever! However my children enjoyed the villains most of all, Boggis, Bunce and Bean 😂

I loved this book!! Looking back, it's a bit... foreboding... a fox family being hunted to death.... but I remember liking their clothes....

This is the first book we read out loud together as a family, but it was kind of unplanned, so we didn’t start reading it out loud until halfway through. But my 4-year-old son enjoyed it and was able to follow along with the story fairly well. As an adult, the story is fairly basic and there weren’t many surprises, but it was a quick, fun, cute read.
