Ending was brilliant but also kind of foul. But a fitting end to the trilogy

Edit: nvm 5 stars this was really well put together

solid conclusion to the series. way better than #3, not as good as 1 and 2, and #4 is like a completely different thing and im not sure which i prefer

I loved the series, including ones after the first three. You know, the ones that the "purists" did not like. I had enjoyed Dirk Gently as well, and thus I was very excited when I saw this at the book store.

I could not put it down. It was exciting to find out where everyone had ended up, and I remember reading in bed, late at night, and realizing how little was left of the pages to read. I remember thinking to myself, "How is he going to resolve all of these plot threads?".

SpoilerNope, not going to resolve anything. Everyone dies at the end, all at once, with the (again) destruction of the Earth by the Vogons

I was so angry I wanted to throw the book across the room. I was so upset, I could not sleep that night. I've read books that I did not like. I've read books where I get upset with the characters, or I even get upset about what the author put a character through.

This was the first time I wanted to punch an author in the face.

I loved this series and plan to re-read it every so often for the rest of my life.

Martin Freeman is an incredible narrator.

A good ending to the series. A witty, well-written series over all with lots of unexpected plot twists
