This was SO G O O D. I was a little sceptical about reading about the young avengers at first but I am so glad that I did! Firstly the story was just fun and filled with action, the dialogues were full of pop-culture references and I LOVE the diverse set of characters (miss America everyone!). The artwork was one of my favourites so far, and yeah I'm a comic book beginner, but I still loved the style and the unique designs of the panels. So yeah, I expect to read the older issues of Young avengers soon.

Something fresh and current for Marvel. The characters, while young, were also new and interesting and pave new paths for heroic characters of the page. It was nice to see Marvel finally stop ignoring their lgbtq readers...The art is wonderful, the story layered, and balances a good mix of humor and action.

I read this a long time ago but in honor of Empyre coming out in 3 weeks (& the long-anticipated return of my favorites to print ) I am going to say that this was my least favorite YA run and I found it bizarre and unfortunate how much Gillen pushed the original members (ESPECIALLY Tommy >.>) to the wayside. IMO bringing on David and America was good; bringing on Noh-Varr and Loki was not. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ Issue 6 is what keeps this above one star.

Love the Young Avengers. The added complex of young Loki, who’s already so conflicted about what older, eviler Loki did, was a great addition. And so was America Chavez.
