I overall enjoyed the book, it was cozy and comforting, and I enjoyed the discussions about what does finding a purpose and balance in life mean, and how paths look different for everyone. However, the thing I had a hard time with was how the approach to work life balance wasn't evenly distributed amongst the characters. One of them, the one that advocates for it, continues to take on more and more and feels obligated to keep it up to make sure her business is a success, which felt contradictory to the overall message of the book.

I absolutely loved this book!! it’s so beautiful. It makes me want to visit Yeongju’s bookshop and sip Minjun’s coffee. Highly recommend it to anyone looking for a healing, fictional escape.
