Stradrop is a webcomic that appears at I Box Publishing featuring Ashelle, an outer space princess who takes up residence in a small coastal Canadian town --- no wait, there are two princesses and the other is evil, but considering being a better person --- no wait, there's also a mysterious human (known as Jenny Mysterious) who can time travel and protect the galaxy --- no wait, there's an adorable space vegetable pet --- no wait, now we have time travel paradoxes and alien invasions --- no wait, now we find out the slightly evil alien princess is really good at child care....
It's a silly, cosy, and often quite funny series with a strong friendship and self-improvement vibe. Oakley has been mining the "daft, forgetful character who's also immensely powerful" trope for decades now, and he gets a lot of humor out of Ashelle ("Spin up the gate! It's time to kidnap some bankers and politicians!"). But a lot of the focus of this volume is on the reforming evil princess Kytanna ("A civilized world equips its aristocratic road ships with phase cannons for such vermin as you!!") and her developing relationship with her boyfriend Tom.

This series gets better and better and deeper and deeper as it goes. Hard to believe it is being published initially in serial format. Highly recommended.
