This was super soft and fluffy and cute as fuck. I read Sidelined 2 years ago, so I didn’t remember anything about Leo and Finn, but they were ridiculously adorable together. 

• COPIOUS amounts of “baby” and “little lion” nicknames
• practice kissing turns into more
• cuddles galore
• everyone is gay
• anxiety disorder
• “I dare you to be my boyfriend”

Anyway, don’t expect anything deep or profound here. It’s just an outgoing soccer player + a shy nerd falling in love with each other for 288 pages with absolutely zero angst.

Me dieron cringe. Don’t get me wrong, I get why it can seem cute pero de repente era too much. Luego si lo trataba como a un niño, lit gentle parenting …. Nunca voy a superar el cringe de leer “little lion”

Aww.... I could not get enough of this amazingly sweet, wholesome, and heartfelt romance between shy Leo and friendly Finn. I love how they instantly bonded over video games, and then quickly became attached as friends. Their progression from friends to something more is a great aspect of their story. They are patient with one another, while always listening and supporting as their feelings change.

I also love the introduction of dares. Daring one another to try something new, branch outside their comfort zone, and realize they can try new things together while continuing to have endless support from one another.

This story was such a breeze to read, that I was sad it ended because these characters are so loving and supportive of one another and their friends. This aspect made this love story special as Leo
and Finn were together even without realizing it.

Overall this story has a great progression from friendship to romance. These two are perfect for one another and I could not get enough.
