Not a fan of the writing. Feels disjointed. A lot of telling and info-dumping. I will read the main novels, though.

Unfortunately, this conned me into reading the next two books in the series until I finally had enough.

was this proofread? not to the point of makenna proofreading. but at least once. she said grant’s brother was emmett at the beginning of the book. and changed it to ford. ik it’s supposed to be ford bc of how the first book in this series says it’s ford. so... what happened there. that’s a huge plot error ma’am. but anyway, too dramay and insults being thrown everywhere for me. i like love/hate relationships as much as the next person. but these insults are just going too far. go back to banter. not straight up tearing each other apart with words. yeah. no thank you.

Literally don't give 2 shits about mak and Declan, someone tell me what happened between Emmett and Avery

This book is the introduction to the first book n the series. It's okay, however I would have liked it not to be only from mak and Declan’s pov. I wish it had also included the other main characters's pov.
