It was fine. I definitely think part of the problem is, unless you're sixteen, there's just too much teenage angst from all the characters (even if they're not teens in the book) to make this a truly enjoyable read for me. Some of the twists in here felt a little out-of-character. I got a little tired of hearing the same pining declarations over and over in Kai's inner dialogue.
If I had been a teenager when this came out I would have DEVOURED it. I didn't hate it but that's about all it's got going for me.

I don’t know how to feel honestly. Some of the characters felt ruined for me by the last third of the book. I think I felt disappointed.
I don’t even know. I really liked powerless & reckless but fearless? no… I guess the end was good? But there was no real plottwist for me, since I guessed all of it so yeah.. I loved Kitt so I was kinda shocked to realise he was a massive asshole.

HOLY. i did not expect to finish this so quick. i did not expect to be crying at 12am on multiple occasions but here we are. the chemistry between kai and paedyn was perfect while the plot twists and story was also good. at some times they were predictable but that doesn’t make them any lesser. i personally really liked this book and i can’t wait until the next novella
