This was a wonderful way to end the series. I did feel like it was a bit repetitive at times but still thoroughly enjoyed it. I love how beautiful she pieces it altogether and I did not see it all coming overall I recommend this series!

Wow. That was…devastating.
A happy ending but not in the way I was expecting or anticipating.

This was such a sad but fitting end to this series. It felt inevitable, even as I was trying to work out how they’d stop it.

The twists, the turns, the secrets and reveals… all the breadcrumbs were there, and while I picked up on some of them, others I never saw till it was all falling together and coming apart.

I loved this series, and if you have been waiting on reading it… this is your sign to go for it.

I thought this book was more adventurous and plot driven then the 2nd book, which is appreciated. However, I wish the reader could have had more perspective into Kitt's mind and character development. I feel like his "evil" speech at the very end did NOT represent hus character through the whole series and if your going to give a character SUCH a 180 character twist, then we as the reader need to at least have some bread crumbs leading up to it. Yes, we were given bread crumbs that he was going "mad" but not full on "hate Payden and take over the world evil." I was strongly disappointed with that revelation because it simply does not fit his character. However I DID love the character development of Callum and the resolved theories of Payden's ancestry, and Callum's "Chess Playing" throughout the series.
Overall, I enjoyed the book and the plot line and theory resolution, even if I was disappointed with Kitt's character development. I wouldn't reread the series but I did like it.

Such a beautifully written book.
