Did I enjoy the ride? Yup! Was it the most original story line? Nope. There were things I thoroughly enjoyed, things I rolled my eyes at, and lots in between. . I would still recommend this trilogy as a YA romantasy read

I really wanted to give this entire series 5 stars purely for the incredible chemistry between Pae and Kai—it’s the strongest part of the books. But ultimately, I had to settle on 3 stars. There were too many plot holes, moments that felt out of character, and a lot of unnecessary filler that slowed the pacing. The potential was there, but the execution didn’t quite hold up across the series.
I keep going back to read the epilogue and sobbing. I would give this 6 stars if I could

I do love Paedyn and Kai, their love story is one I can get behind, however, thissssss book took some funky turns. A bit rushed on scenes and the plot felt floating. It does wrap together in the end but meh not great. I wasn’t quite sure how she was going to end this series and can’t say I loved it.
