Didn't expect it to be all about her beating her testimony.

This book is hard to read and shows how hard it really is to leave a cult especially when you’re the daughter of the “new prophet”

There was a lot more evangelizing, statements of faith, etc. than I expected. I don't mind someone talking about their religion, especially in their own memoir, but this was.... A lot.

A pretty fascinating story about life on the run from a murderous polygamist cult

I got really invested in the life of this little girl. It was an interesting story, but seemed very incomplete. And by the end of the book, I understood that she'd simply swapped one cult for another.
