Honestly, my rating of this is low but I didn’t fully hate it. The narration style was what tanked it for mostly. It was trying very hard to be quippy/witty while also being pretentious and overly philosophical. Way too many unnecessary parentheticals, the script style dialogue conversations were odd. The characters were interesting in their ways but there were way too many things going on to really feel like I could attach to any of them. The plot was also a little too heavy on the lofty abstract constructs and too much of the characters doing the “oh you simply don’t get it”. I don’t know, this one just didn’t really land for me but it was okay.
