The artwork has always being good but this volume knocked out of the park. The same can be said about the story which got more thrillin as we watched it unfold, while we get closer to the characters.

Finally, I love how despite everything, kids are still being portraits as that, just kids, with all their silly, goofy and angsty natures.

less interesting and missing some of the intrigue from the first volume. but with such a great start I'll keep reading in the hopes it improves

As we get deeper into the mindset of Hikaru or should I say, “Hikaru” I can’t help but feel a sense of sadness. This must also be what Yoshiki is feeling as well, as he continues to battle his choice between keeping Hikaru close or letting him go. The boys bond is very deep and loving, and it’s clear there is more than just a friendship bond there. However, with the real Hikaru gone, it seems Yoshiki might not know what to do with those feelings anymore, especially considering they could only get stronger with “Hikaru” still around. It is clear that the real Hikaru felt that strong bond with Yoshiki as well, and this becomes clearer when we read about his thoughts before his death. I already know this manga is going to break my heart but I’m going to continue this emotional journey!
