The tension builds and we see more of 'Hikaru', his motivations and the horrors he defends Yoshiki from (while potentially being a magnet to them). There is something so unnerving even about the tenderness at play in this series, but nonetheless (and perhaps even because of this) I do find myself loving all the characters.

Once again, gorgeous artwork that illustrates a regrettably choppy narrative flow. Still utterly cute and weird, though--the horror got a bit more attention here, and I'm here for it. I enjoyed this more than the last volume, so I'll continue reading when the library purchases volume 3.

Even better than the first volume. Everything is picking up, but nothing is rushed. I’m so invested.

Every time I pick up a book in this series I'm frothing at the mouth! I usually swear I'm not a horror fan but something about this manga is so captivating and creepy – it's a favorite already!

I desperately tried to explain to a friend and I could go with are "spiral – Yoshiki gets attacked by... spirals? No, wait – they're polygons... maybe? There are ghost shapes, ghost spirals? The spirals touched him and it was bad... but then it was good???"

Needless to say, I don't quite have a good handle on how to describe what's going on here but I highly recommend it! It feels like a mix of Juni Ito's creepy vibes blended with the eerieness of Mushi-Shi so if any of that sounds interesting, trust me when I say it's even better than my terrible descriptions!
