This was creepy - some of the pictures made me gasp as I turned the pages. The first night I read this, I got so freaked out I had to stop and put the book away. I hardly read horror though so I might've overreacted. The plot was intriguing and I kept guessing if the scenes were truly paranormal or some sort of hallucinations, or maybe even deliberate acts to throw the whole story off. I kept flip-flopping between different theories and loved every moment of it!

This was an enjoyable read, I liked Mallory’s character a lot because it makes for the best sort of questionable narration. You know she’s clean so none of what she’s experiencing can be blamed on her using drugs or anything like that so you know it’s real. Unfortunately I predicted where the story was headed early on or I probably would’ve rated it higher. Overall, it’s a great book with a decent twist, but if you’re like me and you pay attention to every little detail you might see the ending coming.

This book really pulled me in and I was surprised by how hooked I was. The audiobook was really good.

Some decisions made my the FMC in this book frustrated me but other than that, this book was a great read. I love the twist near the end. The way it ended never crossed my mind. I love how despite it being a 300+ page book, it was a very quick read and it had me on the edge of my seat once the story gained momentum. It wasn't really scary so I guess I would categorize this as more of a thriller than horror
