I was surprised that I thought this was a perfectly reasonable length after reading all the reviews & my pacing annoyances with the last couple of books, but maybe I just needed a break! Back to loving them.

We all know how trouble and stabbing follows Toby like a creepy stalker dude. This story was not a disappointment. I loved the wedding scene. Ok… now onto the last published book until September 2023.

This one felt a little like a filler book, the drama with the King felt a lot like coming up with a plot to go along with the wedding rather than anything really fleshed out. I still love October of course, but this one wasn't the best.

I really enjoy Toby and the family she has created for herself - it's hard to care of other people - open yourself up to pain, but it also makes life sweeter, especially when you can see the other side of the story.
Toby is surprised with a. trip to Canada to finally get the wedding she's wanted. Quentin has to hid himself form his family as he's going home, but things are not all as they seem. Toby has to unravel another mystery and attempted assassination before she can "finally" get married.
