All about other people's expectations and whether to meet them or ignore. A very quirky book.

What a strange yet intriguing book. Though, often times "intrigue" comes hand-in-hand with strange. Being strange without intrigue is pointless (and quite a cruel criticism), but I digress.

If you don't like the read, then at least you didn't waste much time.

As an autistic woman this shit is too fucking relatable. Reading it with some self awareness just made me wonder, is this how other people see me, as something to fix? As something other? On the outside of society?
I often wonder if I can function as a human in society. I know I can on a technical level to some extent, but can I? And often my first thought is I don’t think I can, but if I had a routine, this supposed dead-end job at a convince store… maybe I could.
Also hated the creepy dude so much, just so so much, I hated it.
Pretty ok made me want to throw up because of how relatable and the feelings it made me feel. 3 stars.

Leaves your heart with a warm feeling and very interesting to read if you’re currently working in a similar job.
