Pre-Star Wars sci-fi has a nobler feeling than more contemporary stuff even if it drags a little more. Nobody in this book is trying to be a version of Han Solo and that's a good thing. Le Guin rules

I enjoyed this a 4.5 star amount, but it's clear Le Guin was afraid to really push the bounds of world building so early in her career, and as a result the setting is underwhelming.

Solid “fantasy disguised as sci-fi” novel. No one does it like Le Guin. I’m enjoying my journey through the Hainish Cycle.

I frickin loved this book! So fun and adventurous!!!! and WEIRD!! Loved loved loved.

Some parts was great. Others where boring.
