It's good pulp. I LOVE space opera, and space opera that also has gloomy elves and airborne kingship fights on giant ocelots is just always gonna bang. I barely remember the ending. I'm impressed by how much it did with 110 pages but I'd love to read a longer book that explores the tensions between starship colonialism and mythic autochthonianism more fully.

This book is a bit dense in the early going, only because its a fantasy world being built inside a sci-fi universe. I liked this book a lot its perspective felt very grand. Its a short book and i may go back to it because i feel as though it couldnt all fit inside my head with one reading.
