i can think of a few major turning points in my life but none of them are i was offered a record deal or i could have been an olympic swimmer or i was seriously thinking about being a glaciologist, like ok go off girlie. from its popularity, i thought there'd be a little more meat to this story than "you are in charge of your own destiny"
The premise of this book is incredible - going to a library that exists between life and death and being able to see every potential existence of your life just by choosing a book to open.
I have many mix feelings about this story.
The first half was incredible - I was hooked and couldn’t put it down. But the second half it felt as though it had become very repetitive. The main character became less likeable the more she fixated on what it was she wanted out of her life.
Overall I am glad I read it and I did enjoy it. But it isn’t a new favourite or anything I would reread. However I am keen to read from this author again.

Very self reflective book with the main character. I found it sort of similar to the wedding party in a way, but more internal (literally) with more of a book theme.
