I can’t actually figure out what makes this book not a 5.0 book, it just felt like there was little more I didn’t understand. Maybe it was that I felt depressed by possibility squandered where I should have felt like everything is possible but I felt like there was a dark angle on the book I couldn’t get around. The writing was beautiful and the concept was amazing, I was just left feeling like there was a black cloud above me despite everything else the book told us it was supposed to be about

.
This story from the midnight library is really interesting, where it looks into life itself and offers so many chances to live that it makes us wonder what could happen if we were given the opportunity to live from different versions of life stories.
.
It tells of a woman named Nora seed who was trapped in her life, seeing herself asa failure and feeling that no one would miss her if she died. And as Nora tried to end her life, she woke up in a library full of her lifetime stories with different versions of the story. If Nora can find the right book and story then she can be saved and move on.
.
In various versions of the story of her life, Nora could become a swimmer, a wife and a mother, a philosopher to the point of being a rock star. But after becoming Nora from different versions of her life did Nora find true happiness? What kind of life did Nora want? Can Nora handle whatever she asks for? Can Nora be saved and move on with her life without her family?
.
The midnight library's wrong sci-fi novels, fantasy, the best contemporary I've read this year that tells us about regrets, friendships, family relationships, love and how we live our lives right now, makes us think there are a lot of unimportant things that we're worrying about right now, until maybe it makes us miss out on more important things in our lives.

I really enjoyed this, it was definitely something that made me think (which i don’t enjoy doing most of the time). the premise was so interesting and i was captivated the entire time, but honestly by the end i thought it was trying to spoon feed the message to us rather than letting the reader figure it out ya know? regardless, really good and im glad I read it.

im also not a fan of slow plot-driven books so I listened to this one on audio book and it was a 10/10 listen.

Not really my type of book to be honest but I do think it had some good lessons towards the end

*3.5⭐️
Bem divertido, mas às vezes exagera na autoajuda.
SpoilerInfelizmente, não tenho uma biblioteca mágica para me mostrar todo o meu potencial, então continuo triste. Talvez por isso não tenha funcionado tanto.

Predictable, but entertaining and kind of lovely.
