Just not my type of book so I feel bad giving such a low rating. I was so close to not finishing. There were only a couple of parts I enjoyed.

I was actually really surprised when I found out she couldn't read! Idk how I didn't suspect that.

The first part reminded me a lot of the book Labor Day. Funny that Kate Winslet is in both movies.
I teared up when

she killed herself. I also didn't expect that!

Interesting how their relationship changed Michael's life.

Отличная книга, которой, как мне кажется, здорово помог формат повествования от первого лица. После прочтения понятно, почему её стоит посоветовать людям, размышляющим о вопросе ответственности и вины, о границах долга в несвободной стране.
