Ender's Shadow is one of those books I'll be thinking about for a long time. Card managed to make me care even more about characters I already loved. Through Bean's eyes, he wove a story that was decidedly unexpected and fresh, even though I already *knew* what was going to happen. I read every word. And, I was on the edge of my seat from the first page. I'm looking forward to reading the next book in the series, Shadow of the Hegemon.

fun read - providing another perspective (Bean's) on the story in Ender's Game. This is very much the story of the kids in battleschool (not the "what happens after the bugger battle" at the end of Ender's Game). I may read more in this series, but I think I'll read the Ender's series (not this "Shadow" series?)
