This book was so cozy from the get-go. I swear, I fell into it immediately!
Nick and Noel are best friends, and now that Nick is back from serving his country, there are sparks flying between the two of them that they cannot ignore. The chemistry between them is wonderful; it's my favorite part of friends to lovers. They already have the established relationship, it is simply a matter of taking the leap to the next level.
Noel dealt with a lot that left her terrified of relationships, but Nick is with her every step of the way. He never pressures her, but he's also not afraid to let her know when she's being unreasonable and pushing him away. The way he walks that line is precious because they are family right from the start of the novel. His family took her in when her parents died, and they grew up together and became very close. As their relationship grows, that part of it never changes though her fear is that it will. Nick spends the book convincing her that even if they were to have a bad breakup, his family would still love her and so would he.
It is really touching to watch the two of them, and also super fun to see them tease each other and their other friends.
It was a super great romcom, and the addition of their playlist at the end was genius!

Cute best friend to lovers romance. I absolutely love Hallmark movies so this was write up my ally! I really enjoyed watching how Nick and Noel’s friendship evolved and working through their struggles. Some of the interactions between the Noel and Amber seriously made my roll my eyes.. It was just so juvenile.

I did feel like I was missing more “Holiday” spirit in this book. While there are some holiday elements like the name of the town, I would have like to feel more of that warm holiday feelings after watching Hallmark.

I think we can call this the perfect holiday rom-com! It was perfectly hallmark-ish, fun, spicy, and gave me that warm fuzzy feeling at the end. Can't wait to read more from this author!

Nick and Noel have been best friends for some time. Nick goes to the military but that doesn't stop them. Two besties that discover they want more. Cute cozy holiday read.

I love a wholesome spicy holiday rom-com. Music plays a huge part throughout the whole book because of its significance in Nick and Noel’s friendship, which I could really connect and relate with (plus I’m a sucker for a good playlist in a book). Now I love a good friends-to-lovers trope but I’m always hesitant because sometimes the main characters fighting their feelings “for the sake of the friendship” can drag on for too long in some cases but that wasn’t the case for this book. It never felt like it was dragging on for too long. While I could’ve done with less of the ex drama, I feel like some of it was necessary for the self-discovery of the main characters.

Very cute Christmas story! I was SHOCKED by how steamy it got, whewie. Reminds me of an R rated hallmark movie.

So they jumped FAST from "we're just BFFs" to "okay, but maybe we kiss" or whatever. Like, okay, maybe, but really? Maybe that's just unbelievable to me as I'm asexual, but still...

And while I could have down without the sex scenes, the story itself was fun and enjoyable.

This story lifted my holiday mood.
