If you're expecting this story to resemble the Disney movie of the same name you will be thouroughly disappointed. This was so vastly different that I barely recognized the movie Disney made from it. That said, the tale is still a fun read and this edition especially. With the interactive elements and the lovely illustrations, this is the version I would tell people to go for. It enhances the story so, so much. I would recommend it. 5 out of 5 stars.

"The Beauty and the Beast" by Gabrielle-Suzanne Barbot de Villeneuve and Illustrated by MinaLima is, the classic fairytale a young pretty girl named Belle who's imprisoned in the mystical castle by a cursed beast.

I would give "The Beauty and the Beast" by Gabrielle-Suzanne Barbot de Villeneuve and Illustrated by MinaLima a 5-star review because, 1; I love the 3d aspects by MinaLima which brought the story more alive and 2; I loved the plot line of this fairy tale, it has always spoken to me when reading it.

It was readable until the last quarter of the book. The sentence structure became so convoluted and the terminology so archaic that I lost all interest in following the story.
