This was a super fast read. The book was too short, in my opinion, which is probably why there were multiple books written. The first 2 books could have been combined to one.

That being said it was a super enjoyable beach y read. There are themes in this book which, when taking place in a high school, seem both semi shocking and also on par with high school age kids. (Ok I'm not that old).

The series is very enjoyable if you like books that don't make you think.

Ok so I was looking for something to fill my Fallen Crest withdrawals and this came up as an option. So happy I read this series over some of the others I found because I now have a new obsession. The Royals sure know how to bring the heat with them because these books are sizzling H.O.T.!
This book picks up right where the last one ended. Reed was still facing going to jail.. Yes I said Jail over something he swore he didn't do. The Royals face it all from an arrest, murder, dirty judges, blackmail, someone coming back from the dead, and more! This book was so intense since there was so much going on.
I had a feeling about Steve and that something was totally off there, but I didn't see that ending coming! Wow! I really wanted to punch Steve and Dinah in the face many times throughout this book. However, by the end of the book, I actually felt bad for Dinah and Brooke most of all.
I am sad to see the Ella and Reed story end, but I am excited to read more about Gideon and Easton! I am excited to dive into the next book but it will have to wait as I have quite the list building for reviews. Stay tuned for my review of the next book in the series.

Okey...
