Reading this book I was quickly wrapped up in their second chance I found myself yelling Yas go get your man so many times. I think I liked the book most because the character Yas just reminded me so much of myself. Prior to the most devastating thing to happen to her, she was strong, someone who put other people’s needs before her own. Someone who just pushed through all the hard times, then she just imploded in a way. I think we’ve all been there or at least can be empathetic to that experience. The book made me crave certain aspects of their relationship in my own.

I loved this book with my WHOLE heart! ❤️ The author did such a great job of portraying the different sides of grief and depression and how we all handle things differently. The story of Yas and Si so devastatingly beautiful. This book for sure made me feel things. This is my first Kennedy Ryan book, but I can already tell I’ll probably read anything she writes! 🫶🏽
