In the next chapter you will learn… in the next chapter... in the next chapter... This is how the book reads. I kept waiting for what I was going to learn, but never really got there. This was incredibly repetitive. I love self-improvement and business books. This hardly qualifies for either. Basically the author has figured out the elements of charisma and is attempting to teach you how to have all of those elements. This seems easy to do, but in practice it is incredibly difficult. At this point I am admiring charismatic people even more and wondering if I’ll ever have what it takes. These tips might work for somebody else. I just don’t feel like many of these are going to stick in the reader’s mind after the book is over. I didn’t really care for the author’s voice. It felt impersonal and pretty boring.
