Brutally honest and doesn't hold punches — punches that need to be thrown. Kendall writes in engaging and clear language that is inclusive and available to all readers.
The only flaw to its inclusivity are the occasional moments where the reader is expected to know about the current political and cultural climate, which not everyone does.
It can be repetitive in its points, but they are important points that bear repeating.

This is a well written, well researched book. If you’re already familiar with intersectional feminism, there’s nothing here particularly new or revelatory, but it’s an excellent addition to the canon.

Amazing book that calls out so many things we perceive as normal and shows how they can truly be sexist, racist, and harmful. This book will make you uncomfortable, which is exactly what we need!

While these topics, and the lens Kendall asked readers to look through, wasn't new to me, it was still an incredible book that summarized topics very well. I appreciate that this book exists and is there for people to read.
