an accessible introduction to black feminism! the information was rooted in real-life examples and personal anecdotes which made the work feel more approachable.

3.5 stars! A book with a great reminder that women need to stick together to fight injustice. Whatever hurts one group will hurt and effect us all. Intersectionality is important, especially as we fight ways that patriarchy, discrimination, and colonialism have disproportionately hurt women and children.
