I love anything I’ve read so far by these authors. I picked this book up because I wanted to read the bonus chapters for another series, and was curious about a new world they were creating. 
The book starts off slow - really slow - as they build the world and introduce the characters. Id definitely suggest reading the prequel before this one! Once the book picks up, it PICKS UP. Cliffhanger is a bit brutal - but not the worst I’ve seen from this pair of authors. 
Overall, good read, and I’m excited to continue the series as more are released.

This was such a good start to the series, I cant wait to read the next after that ending! However, I felt it was far too long and the first half wasn’t anywhere near as captivating as the second half.
