This book feels like the earliest books in this series. The first few books were incredibly entertaining, then there were a few that seemed too silly and "keystone cops" campy.

This book has reignited my love of the Stephanie Plum series.

Stephanie and Joe are on again and Ranger is still protecting Stephanie from the dangers of her job- Grandma and the Plums are all still there. Loved Bella and Ranger's Porsche, loved Connie and Vinnie having bigger roles (Go Vinnie- first time you weren't a completely lost cause), and I liked the mystery of the game coin.

However, the end seemed a bit rushed. And please for the love of all of the fandom, Stephanie deserves better than Morelli!

Sure, this can be somewhat predictable, but I still laugh every time I read this series.

Is Stephanie finally breaking through Morelli's Grandmother's hatred of her? Maybe.

I love that the car explosions never seem to be the same thing twice.
