twenty nine books in and Stephanie's cars still get blown up, she still can't decide between Ranger & Joe, Lula & grandma are still outrageous, and she still gets kidnapped. It's the same old same old plot only this time Connie is kidnapped and Stephanie & Lula must find her. The usual hi-jinks of capturing skip traces, drama with Joe's grandmother, and the usual steamy moments with Joe & Ranger. I was hoping that someday Stephanie will grow up and make a decision.

No major additions the the characters I like and kind of rambling.  No real line through the plot.

I have no idea why I continue to read the series when I obviously don’t enjoy it anymore… I think I’m just hoping for some closure but like at this point ranger doesn’t even play a role in the story lying besides him, giving Stephanie her cars and calling her on the phone and saying “BaBEEe”
