This is a brilliant book. Easily the best book I've read this year so far. It was very funny, downright terrifying at the same time, emotional and raw in a disturbingly matter of fact kind of way (which is actually highly effective and very funny), has beautifully written main characters, and lovely prose. Also, Valery Kolkhanov is a proper badass. Highly recommended to anyone who wants to give it a try!

Heel aandoenlijk verhaal, zeer informatief en ook interessant.
Bizar dat iets dat zo lang geleden is gebeurd in de koude oorlog nu eigenlijk weer heel actueel aanvoelt.
