Was a quick read that I finished in less than an hour.

It reminded me of FSOG & Gideon mashed up.
I would have liked to know more about the characters and the ending left me wanting to know what happened after all the hot sex???

Thank you for letting me read this to write a review :)

Well that was pretty damn hot, yet familiar. I look forward to seeing where this goes, hopefully it goes on it's own path...

This is a hot and steamy quick read. Carter is young, powerful and knows what he wants. I did feel like this part of the story was a bit rushed, I felt like they’d only just met and before I knew it she was going home with him. not so much the sex, but just their relationship in general felt like it came on so quick I didn’t really know where it came from. It was good writing and I’d be interested in reading something else by the author, but I don’t think this one gripped me enough to read the next in the series.

It was rushed and not only the storyline. There were editing errors, inconsistencies between what colour Carter's eyes were (steel blue twice, ice blue once), multiple references to a UMASS with no explanation as to what the hell it was (being British I'm not going to know American colleges in general let alone if they've been shortened).

In all, not too keen on it at all. I see where the authors is going I'm just not sure.

I'm taken by this story after re-reading it again.
Writing and plot is good though it echos another story but it wasn't as crazy as the other and I like how things worked out in this book.

Carter is a more reasonable, in my own POV, but still "alpha in-charge" and quite dashing.
Evangeline is wonderful and strong but very very cautious on the emotions. I am wary of her but will give her the chance to really "fall" in the upcoming books.

I like how easy it is to read and just dive into the story...

Swooning! Quickly...on to the next book!
