I liked the book but also not. The tempo was up and down and some bits felt rushed and some bits felt to fast. Yeah I can't put my finger on what's missing.

More like 3.5

I had trouble connecting to the characters and their story. I rarely have a problem with that, but I feel like a lot of their feelings and thoughts were left out. And honestly, I'm having a tough time connecting with Cian. Sure, he seems a little sociopathic. But there could have been a backstory, or some more chapters from his POV.

Overall, it's an alright story, but it lacked something. I can't really put my finger on it, but it did.

3.5 rounded
It was a fun right. hot as well.
As for the relationship development part, I can't say it was bad because the author didn't try to get on it in the first place. From the beginning of the book, they were all in love and hard for the lil tease, Jack.
So yeah the book was more of a fun and easy ride than an emotional one.
