Very interesting. Quite a shift from the tone of Handmaid’s tale. Valuable in reflecting on the situations where ones’ personal interest conflicts with their own morality.

Solid follow up to the Handmaid’s Tale. I liked that Atwood wrote parts of the book from the perspective of Aunt Lydia. I have always wondered what sort of circumstances led to her taking on the role that she did in Gilead and this sequel gives us some understanding of that.

Exactly what I was hoping it would be! I loved reading the three different views points of the characters. It was interesting seeing their different perspectives. Seeing Aunt Lydia's perspective was particularly interesting. A really good continuation of the original novel The Handmaid's Tale!

You either die a hero or live long enough to write a dystopian YA novel.
