Um nope, I’m not done. I didn’t finish this in 14 hours with no sleep. Cry my eyes out. Scream the hose down.
And now it’s over and what the hell am I gonna do this book was to good and I’m depressed I don’t have a family like the Brayshaws.

This was the perfect end to the our Brayshaw boys saga. Royce is everything I imagined he would be and then some. He has the heart of a lion. He does everything so fiercely and jumps in to battle with both feet with such little regard. It’s hiding so much beneath the surface. Brielle is just the girl to dig into that gushy center that he’s got. She is light, pure radiance at its finest without a hint of maliciousness. She’s not going to back down now that she’s realized where her place is though. She’s going to fight for the family she wants in her life and Lord knows with Royce she’s going to need to prepare for battle. He’s going to go down swinging, but like every Brayshaw when he’s met his match, he’s still going to fall at the end of the day...
I’ve been waiting for Royce’s book since he was first introduced in Brayshaw High. He is one of my favorites and I just knew Meagan would tourtue me and make his book the last in the series. But it was definitely worth the wait. Finally being able to get inside Ponyboy’s head was everything I needed. He is such a unique character and truly shows not everything you see on the outside is the same on the inside. Brielle was not what I expected but man, did I love her. She might actually be my favorite of the girls which is saying something because I adore Victoria and am obsessed with Raven. Brielle was completely different but she fit so well. She was everything their group needed to be complete.
This book pulled my heart so much. It was such a raw emotional book. Meagan hit the nail on the head with the title because it definitely did break me, but it also put me back together in the end. I love seeing how the characters interact with a new member and how much they care for Royce and want him to be happy. There is a lot of inner dialogue in this book, but it works perfectly for the main characters, especially Royce. You get to see him struggle and fight himself and his feelings. Brielle was a champ and didn’t take Royce’s bs. She could see through his mask and knew it wasn’t really him. I also loved that we got a bit of Bass’s backstory. I really hope he gets his own book!
We also got some great moments with the other Brayshaws including Raven and Maddoc having their baby! The scene when Raven’s water broke was hilarious. The guy's reaction was perfect. There is also a loving moment with Victoria and Zoey that made me tear up. Overall this book was everything I wanted and more. It had moments that made me cry, moments that made me want to throw my phone at the wall, and moments of happiness. I’m sad the Brayshaw journey is over, but I know Meagan will start a new series that is equally addicting and beautiful as this one.

Brielle was a wonderful character. Strong without being a bully, gentle without being a pushover. She’s had a pretty rough life but her personality and optimism was refreshing to read. She was full of unconditional love just waiting to be bestowed upon others.
She was perfect for Royce. He’s hidden behind his insecurities for so long that he needed someone gentle and strong enough to withstand his emotional lashing out. As anyone could have expected, he did his best to push her away, even while he was mentally screaming for her to stay.
And of course she did, we wouldn’t have a happy ending without it. But I was disappointed with it. I needed more groveling. Royce really was a giant dick. Sometimes I feel like romance novels are extraordinarily forgiving towards characters that haven’t appropriately apologized, especially male heroes. Maybe I’m seeing a bias that isn’t there because I tend to hold grudges towards my fictional characters, but the “hero is a dick but heroine forgives him immediately” trope is getting old for me.
Regardless, this was a great end to the series (except Bass??? I need his story too) and I was hooked immediately. Meagan Brandy’s characters are always so full of depth and the steam factor is just *chef’s kiss* right. Hope to read more from her.

What a way to finish off this series!!
It was everything that I was expecting and more.
Not only was this an incredible series, but every individual
book was beyond my expectations.
I loved the world that MB created with these characters.
She did an amazing job with Royce and Brielle's story.
It was deeply poignant, and well written.
So many feelings were invoked while reading this book,
not only because it was that good, but because you knew
as you read each chapter that this was the last book in the series.
Definitely one of my All-Time Favorite books/series

“I hate her, she don’t listen.
I like her, she challenges me.
I can’t stand the sight of her, she distracts me.
I can’t function when she’s out of sight, she’s all I want to see.”

While I LOVED Royce and Brielle’s story, there was a bit too much of a pity party happening. That being said, I am going to miss these characters SO MUCH it hurts. Loved the interwoven stories between them and the other two couples and that they all got their perfect HEAs even tho it came with many tears.
