4.5 - yay!! Very slow and a little jarring at first, but it really grows on you. A bit heftier for a romance novel, but that wasn’t a bad thing at all.

This book dragged. The storyline was not gripping and I felt like it was written poorly. The whole story could have been told within 200 pages.

I loved it, the characters are diverse, we are following the main love story along with a few other plots that make the whole very interesting
The trigger warning I include do not relate to the main relationship

Eh. 2.5?? The first half of this book was hard to get into. I don't really know how I feel about it as a whole because I really liked the MMC, Leon. (It took minute to get used to his writing, but after that I enjoyed it) I looked forward to his POV chapters, but dreaded Tiffy's, the FMC. She was not my favorite. Having to basically walk her through her past relationship when they weren't even together while reading this book really took away from the experience for me. It was kind of annoying her not seeing the red flags of her past relationship and her resistance to move on from it. Truthfully, I thought about DNFing this book, but decided to push through in hopes it would get better. Now that I've finished it, I could've DNF'd it and had no regrets. All in all, I wouldn't say that I necessarily liked this book, but I'm glad the mystery of it has been solved.
